WHO WE ARE
The Milwaukee Marathon is Wisconsin’s premier running event. In 2018, it was purchased by GateHouse Media, now Gannett, the largest newspaper publisher in the US, and is produced by Gannett’s endurance events division – Ventures Endurace. Ventures Endurance portfolio consists of over 120+ live and virtual races across North America. The inaugural event under the new ownership, which took place in April 2019, attracted over 7,500 participants – 2x the previous year’s number and was on pace to attract 10,000+ participants in 2020.
The Milwaukee Marathon offers three race distances that attract runners of all fitness levels: a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 5K. All races start and finish at the Milwaukee Bucks’ Live Block entertainment complex, right outside Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee, which offers runners and spectators an unparalleled pre- and post-race experience.
